ECTFE Lined Equipment

RANA ECTFE lined equipment includes storage tanks, reactors, and separators, among other process equipment. These devices are made with metal as the base material and ECTFE (ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene) as the lining. The key advantage of ECTFE is its 'high cost-effectiveness' -- compared to PFA and PTFE, ECTFE reduces costs by 30%, while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance (capable of withstanding dilute sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid). This makes it suitable for processes involving weak to moderately corrosive media, such as reactions of common chemical raw materials.

RANA ECTFE lined equipment is widely used in the production of fertilizers (such as ammonium bicarbonate reactions), leather tanning (such as chromium tanning agents), and ceramics (such as glaze preparation). Its ECTFE lining, which has a wear rate only half that of ordinary plastics, can withstand the erosion from granular media (such as mineral slurries) and prevent damage to the lining. This makes it an ideal choice for medium to low corrosion processes.
